<i>In situ</i> x-ray diffraction study of dynamically compressed <mml:math xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"><mml:mi>α</mml:mi></mml:math> -cristobalite using a dynamic diamond anvil cell

In this study we present results of the dynamic compression $\ensuremath{\alpha}$-cristobalite up to a pressure 106 GPa with use diamond anvil cell. X-ray diffraction images were recorded at different ramp and decompression rates investigate in situ high-pressure phase transitions $\ensuremath{\alpha}$-cristobalite. Our suggest that onset transformation cristobalite II, X-I, ultimately seifertite ($\ensuremath{\alpha}\text{\ensuremath{-}}{\mathrm{PbO}}_{2}$ type ${\mathrm{SiO}}_{2}$) is dependent on applied stress conditions experiment. Increasing general shift studied higher pressures. Furthermore, our indicate for single crystals under hydrostatic suppression transition from X-I pressures 82 GPa.
